Recovery Program

Recovery is more than stopping substance use. It is about restoring stability, rebuilding confidence, and reclaiming purpose. For many individuals struggling with addiction or co-occurring mental health conditions, recovery requires more than short-term detox or outpatient counseling. It requires structure, clinical support, accountability, and an environment designed for transformation.

At Josie’s Hope Center PV, our Recovery Program integrates psychiatric stabilization, evidence-based therapy, physical wellness, and restorative experiences into a comprehensive residential treatment model. We treat adults 18 and older who need focused, structured care to break destructive cycles and build sustainable long-term recovery.

Our Recovery Philosophy

We believe that mental health disorders and substance use disorders frequently coexist. Addressing only one leaves the other untreated, increasing the likelihood of relapse. Our program is built on an integrated care model that treats both simultaneously.

Our core philosophy centers on:

Integrated Clinical Care
Individualized Treatment Planning
Whole-Person Wellness
Community and Accountability
Sustainable Recovery

Recovery is not simply about abstinence. It is about healing the mind, strengthening the body, and reconnecting with a meaningful life.

What Recovery Looks Like at Josie’s Hope Center PV

Recovery begins the moment a resident arrives. From day one, our team conducts a comprehensive clinical assessment to identify psychiatric needs, substance use patterns, trauma history, and emotional triggers.

Based on this assessment, each resident receives a customized treatment plan that may include:

Individual psychotherapy
Group therapy
Psychiatric medication stabilization
Relapse prevention planning
Dual diagnosis education
Emotional regulation training
Fitness and structured movement
Therapeutic outings
Mindfulness and grounding practices
IV Hydration Therapy
Self-care services

This comprehensive structure supports both immediate stabilization and long-term growth.

Structured Daily Programming

Consistency builds resilience. Each day in our Recovery Program follows a structured schedule designed to promote emotional regulation and personal accountability.

Residents participate in up to six hours of structured group therapy daily. Group sessions focus on:

Coping strategies
Trigger identification
Behavioral awareness
Communication skills
Emotional processing
Accountability development
Dual diagnosis education

Individual therapy sessions provide focused time to address trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and other underlying concerns.

Psychiatric follow-up ensures medication regimens remain effective and adjusted as needed.

Physical and Emotional Restoration

Substance use and untreated mental health conditions often lead to physical depletion and emotional exhaustion. Recovery requires restoring both.

Our program incorporates:

Regular fitness and gym access
Movement-based therapy
Structured recreational activities
Therapeutic outings
Mindfulness practices
IV Hydration Therapy

Physical wellness supports neurological healing and emotional stability. Exercise and hydration help regulate mood, improve sleep, and reduce anxiety, strengthening therapeutic outcomes.

Emotional Regulation and Relapse Prevention

A primary focus of our Recovery Program is emotional regulation. Many individuals turn to substances to escape overwhelming emotions. Without new coping skills, relapse risk remains high.

Residents learn how to:

Identify emotional triggers
Tolerate distress without substances
Communicate effectively
Set boundaries
Develop structured coping strategies
Create relapse prevention plans

These tools are practiced daily within the safety of the residential environment before transitioning back into the community.

Community and Accountability

Healing does not happen in isolation. Our 10-bed setting fosters a therapeutic community built on shared experience and mutual accountability.

Residents support one another through structured group work, recovery-focused discussions, and experiential learning. This sense of connection reduces shame and isolation while reinforcing motivation.

Accountability within a small, structured environment promotes responsibility and growth without feeling overwhelming.

Family Involvement and Education

Addiction and mental health disorders affect the entire family system. When appropriate and with proper consent, we incorporate family therapy sessions and education to strengthen communication and rebuild trust.

Family involvement increases the likelihood of long-term recovery by creating a supportive post-treatment environment.

Planning for Sustainable Recovery

Our Recovery Program does not end at discharge. From early in treatment, we focus on building sustainable recovery plans that include:

Aftercare coordination
Outpatient referrals
Psychiatric follow-up
Community-based recovery meetings
Alumni engagement opportunities
Relapse prevention strategies

Residents leave with structured plans and practical tools to maintain stability beyond residential care.

A Concierge-Level Treatment Experience

We understand that dignity matters. Our program provides an elevated treatment experience that includes private room options, personalized care, and attentive staff support.

Our smaller setting allows for individualized attention while maintaining clinical structure. Residents receive compassionate care without sacrificing therapeutic rigor.
